This is the story of a fearless goat shower. This goat shower has never let her goats miss a meal.. (In fact they may get a bit more than the need sometimes and are even snuck a treat or two occasionally.) This goat shower has never once tried to take the easy route or cheated to win. She has day or night, rain & snow been out there, running right beside (and in some cases right behind) her goats giving them the exercise they need. She has gone to every show possible and wins showmanship almost every time she enters. This girl is exceptional and she’s mine!
It was an amazing, emotional, fast paced, exciting, draining, and awesome year. I’m still new at this goat thing but Autumn had two of the best goats I’ve ever seen with one being exceptional.
She’s made friends and learned so many lessons by helping others.
Because there were so many shows and spread all over the state, all her grandparents were able to see her show this year!
I love this series of pictures. It shows just how serious Autumn is during a show. This is her waiting to go into the ring:
Smile at Mama:
Can I have another smile?
Autumn? Hello?
Annsley and Papa, waiting just as intense and serious as Autumn
Autumn Showing her little heart out!
Daddy’s old belt buckle from his goat showing days. Autumn is so proud to wear this!!
I love this series of pictures also… I think it truly represents how much Joshua is into this:
See him in the background?
Judge was picking first place and it was killing Josh… Look at him all the way on the fence now.
After she shows, He likes to tell her what she did good and bad!
Winning her class
Now trying to win grand: (Can you tell how hard she works to do this?)
The judge went on and on about how much he liked Autumn. After she won, he told her she was one of the best he’d ever seen!
Before any show, Joshua and Autumn work together to make sure they both have everything right! It’s really cute:
This is Autumn winning showmanship. Again.
My baby is so short and her goat is so strong. That makes her have to work so hard and she does and loves it!
Love that girl and those goats!
